Jake and Gerald supported Rotaract Manila’s SALUDO SA SUNDALO AT KAPAMILYA project Mar 5, '09 1:33 AM

The lead actors of ABS-CBN's top-rating TV series Tayong Dalawa, Jake Cuenca and Gerald Anderson, gave a part of their total winnings in Kapamilya Deal or No Deal to the Cancer patients of the AFP Medical Center.

Gerald and Jake donated 400,000 pesos for the project spearheaded by the Rotaract Club of Manila, dubbed as Saludo sa Sundalo at Kapamilya.

Saludo sa Sundalo at Kapamilya is a continuation of Rotaract Manila's program for cancer patients of the AFP Medical Center. The project supports selected soldiers and children of soldiers who are undergoing treatment for cancer.

“Masarap ang pakiramdam pag nakakatulong. Sure kami (ni Jake) na malaki rin ang maitutulong ng halagang ito sa mga cancer patients,” Gerald expressed.

”Kahit papano ay na-feel narin namin kung papaano maging sundalo. Mahirap talaga, papaano pa kaya yung mga sundalong dumaranas ng cancer. Kaya naman, nararapat lang silang tulungan,” Jake shared.
